This large, sun tolerant ornamental bromeliad can grow to 1.2 metres high. The foliage can range from green, to orange to red depending on the clone, and will develop its best vibrant colours in sufficient sunlight. The large flower spike can reach 1.5m bearing long lasting masses of red and yellow flowers and purple berries. The orange and yellow varieties prefer full sun while the green variety prefers partial sun.

Aechmea fasciata primera X morgana
Description
This beautiful plant grows in partial shade reaching to between 1 and 3 feet in height and spreading up to 2 feet. Therefore proving to be most suitable as house/office plant.
The green leaves on plant are heavily banded with silver. It has the most stunning big pink pyramidal flower head with blue petals. The flower remains in colour for several months. We hope this cross to give thornless leaves since both parents has thornless leaves.
