Description
This large, sun tolerant ornamental bromeliad can grow to 1.2 metres high. The foliage can range from green, to orange to red depending on the clone, and will develop its best vibrant colours in sufficient sunlight. The large flower spike can reach 1.5m bearing long lasting masses of red and yellow flowers and purple berries. The orange and yellow varieties prefer full sun while the green variety prefers partial sun.

Aechmea fasciata primera X morgana
Description
This beautiful plant grows in partial shade reaching to between 1 and 3 feet in height and spreading up to 2 feet. Therefore proving to be most suitable as house/office plant.
The green leaves on plant are heavily banded with silver. It has the most stunning big pink pyramidal flower head with blue petals. The flower remains in colour for several months. We hope this cross to give thornless leaves since both parents has thornless leaves.
Alcantarea extensa
Description
A striking, evergreen giant that can grow to 1.5m. The smooth, silver-grey leaves often form funnel shaped rosettes, and bear purple markings in cooler climates. Flower spike can grow to 2-3m, and bears golden flowers. Prefers full sun.
Alcantarea imperialis rubra
Description
Formerly known as Vriesa imperialis, this dark-red giant can span over 1.5 meters in ten years. The tough, leathery leaves tinge a deep red in bright light. The thick, red flower spike can grow 2.5 meters high, producing hundreds of lightly fragrant, white flowers. Prefers bright light and can withstand relatively cool temperatures.
Canistropsis billbergioides Citron
Description
A stunning little plant with shiny green leaves, the central leaves turn a bright yellow when in flower. Slightly smaller, softer and lighter than others in its species, it can grow to about 30cm in height. Prefers shade.
Canistrum lindenii
Description
A large rosette of 50-75cm with an interesting pattern, the broad mottled green leaves have spiny edges and silvery scales on the underside. The inflorescence consists of compact, white flowers surrounded by purplish-pink bracts. Requires warmth, shade, and frequent spraying in dry periods.
Guzmania decora hybrid
Description
The medium-sized rosette has deep green, glossy leaves with thin, burgundy-red stripes. The short flower spike is red with bright yellow petals and grows close to the plant. It remains in colour for many months.
Hohenbergia catingae
Description
This pretty plant has a medium sized rosette of tall, prickly, greenish-blue leaves and a tall spike bearing deep pink bracts and purple flowers. Prefers partial to full sun, with leaf colours intensifying in bright light.
