Neoregelia 'Purple Star'

Description
Medium sized rosette 40-50 cm across with wide, leathery leaves that turn a soft maroon-aubergine in high light and a light to deep purple in the centre when flowering. The vivid shades of purple intensify with age, making this plant a great favourite for interior as well as landscape designing. Prefers partial sun, with bright indirect light in the morning or late afternoon for maximum colour.
